The Dutch look after their cyclists; maybe no country in the world has better bike infrastructure. But since everybody rides a bike there, they all get very good at it. If they don’t, they’re in trouble.
It’s not my photo; it’s from The Dutchables.
But was this really taken in Holland? The cars seem to be on the wrong side of the road.

It’s a Dutch number plate, Richard. And you know we’re stingy. Why give bikes more room if they don’t need it.
Hilarious photo, though.

Hmm…I’m still not sure it’s Nederland, Mina. The cars on the bridge seem to be facing the wrong way too.
But if it is indeed Holland and you do find the location – I dare you to ride along it. When I’m watching, of course.
Challenge accepted.
The plate on the red car does look like a Dutch one (3 blocks of 2 letters/numbers), and so do the houses if you check the photo on this website: http://fietsen.web-log.nl/photos/uncategorized/fietspadinnederland_3.jpg
If I find the location, I’ll let you know.
I’ve never been to Holland. Ridnig a bike there would have to be less scary than in Italy. Love the photo.
