Farewell, Iceland. It’s been a great trip. A visit to the National Museum of Iceland rounded it off.

The interior of a 19th century badstofa (bath house) which became the place a whole family would spend their time.
A relief map in the Town Hall showed where we’d been.

The commentary was in German, but I did my best to follow it. The place we hiked was in the pointy bit nearest the camera.
Of course, nothing compares to the real scenery of Iceland.
And we all had a planking good time!

Where are you planking next Richard?
We plankers like to lie somewhere nice and flat, Agnes…so for a little while I’ll settle for Holland.
I can’t wait to get to Iceland! Thanks for the wonderful introduction.
The pleasure was all mine of course, BdL.
No better place to plank than Iceland
