Chapter 4 - Everyday life in the Forest and pulling of the weeds

  *THUD!*THUD!*THUD!*THUD!*THUD!*

Early morning, where the sun hasn’t yet raised. In the middle of a dense forest, where lot of unknown animals lived, one could hear a loud chopping sound. It continued for a while, and then one of the trees there wobbles slowly and crashed to the ground.

  *Crash!*

“*sigh*... now that would be the last tree around this area. With this, we can now properly make a house!” – Riot

~do we need to? I mean, you live in a very fancy tent you know?~

‘It is much better to live in a house rather than living in a tent. When the wind blows, it would shake the wall and rather disturbs my rest. Especially when it rains right? I know you hate those annoying noises every time it hits the tent.’

Riot looked at the empty field he cleared and was satisfied with it. He cleared all debris, from large rocks to deep roots, so that it won’t hinder his house in the coming future. On the left side of the empty lot he made, there was a big cubicle area which was covered with thin vines; so that small insects wouldn’t get through it but the sun light can still pass. On the right side of the empty lot was a much larger area which was fenced with big woods and one can hear noises if you listen closely.

~Mater’s right, with all those dried logs we prepare, we can build one of those dream cabins you’ve dreamt about with her...~

‘... I, I can’t... no, you’re right, it would insult her if I can’t even make our dream house.’

~that’s the spirit! You can even brag about it when you meet up with her...~

  ‘...Thanks, I mean that.’

~... as long as it makes my master happy, I would help you with it.~

‘Well then, after finishing our morning schedule, I’ll be starting on laying the foundation of the house. While you work on the design and architectural calculations so that this will not fall even if there’s an earthquake.’

~giving me the hard job as always... *sigh*~

‘You know, every day you’re becoming more and more human with how you talk. You’re too influenced on how Akira talks.’

~what can I say? She’s very cool! With those entire weapons she hid in her body, you can say we have a lot in common. Fufu...~

It has been eight months since his transportation to this new world. But all he did, aside from getting the loots of the dead bodies from the war, was just holing up inside the forest. He didn’t care of the outside world as of yet, as he was still having a peaceful time inside the forest. In that span of time he was only once been hunted by the humans and was never been disturbed by them ever again.

The only thing he does was tending to his new hobby, tending to his small farm. On the third day of his new life, he planted all the seeds that he took from the store. It was all Earth plants, ranging from fruits to vegetables and some of them were decorative plants like roses and daisies. He just did it for curiosity sake as to whether the plants would be fine to the dirt from the unknown earth or it would die as it had a different nutrients from the ground. But when the next day arrived, all his plants flourished – the fruit seeds were now trees bearing lots of fruit, the vegetables were big and healthy, ready to be picked, and the flowers blossomed so beautifully, that it looked so heavenly when lights shine on them. He tended the plants everyday just to keep up with the growth of it, but he was somehow addicted to the feel of taking care of it. But as the days goes by, the produced were so plenty that he had to throw some of the stuff away.

Feeling wasted by the thrown veggies and fruits, he gave them to what he thought was some herbivore creatures. He saw what looked like some herd of large sheep with golden horns attached to its head. He tried giving it to them at first, but they suddenly attacked him with what seems to be arrows made from light. He dodges them desperately as the arrows were as fast as the bullets coming from Earth. Seeming like he can’t go near them, he just left the food and bolted away. He did that every day, from bringing foods to dodging their attacks, until the herd didn’t attack him. It was to the point they became meek and followed Riot to his place. Being unable to think on what to do with the dilemma, Glendell provided a lovely solution; and that was to build a pen for them. With that, the heard followed him there without any problem and was living quietly with him. He also had gigantic boars, which loved the apples, and what seems to be some chicken, when they smelled the toasted corn which he cooked.

‘Now that we’re done with them, time to do some morning exercise!’

~will you face that pile of bones again?~

‘Well, he’s always waiting for me every time we walk to the forest. At least he faced me upfront not like those goblins.’

~yeah, they are more annoying than that skeleton... oh look, he’s already in the field waiting for you.~

‘More of a monster, he looks like a warrior eager to learn some new skills.’

Goblins suddenly attacked Riot one day when he was walking in the forest. They were fast and dangerous with their weapons and had a numerical advantage on him. But even with those advantages, they were still no match for him. He killed all of them and left them there as they had no values to take. As he was walking back he saw a skeleton that held a sword and a shield, attacking a group of goblins. The skeleton was fast and strong as he cuts the opponents in half with one strike from his sword. It also defeated them easily, as all the goblins were laying in a circle around the skeleton. The skeleton noticed Riot and proceeded to attack him. He nimbly dodges the attacks and tried to land a punch to its body, but was easily been blocked by the shield. Surprised by the sudden skills of the skeleton, Riot smiled as he disarmed its sword and made a wonderful judo throw; scattering all his bones in the ground. As the bones didn’t move again, he just preceded his morning walk as always.

But on the next day, he saw the skeleton again and it attacked him like the first time. He tried to disarm again the opponent but it just let go of its sword and held to Riot’s arm. Surprised at what it did, Riot just waited for it to continue on what it would do to him. To his astonishment, it also made a judo throw, not perfect but it would still hurt if Riot would connect to the ground. Riot magnificently escaped the throw and did a wonderful roundhouse kick to its head, flying at a tremendous speed. The skeletal body desperately runs to retrieve its head, making Riot walk away from it.

As the days goes by it challenges Riot again and again, learning new techniques and even making Riot sweat. It was getting better and better but still hasn’t made a decent hit to Riot’s body. It still had its shield and sword, but just threw them away as it was useless against its opponent. The skeleton was getting better and better at hand combat that it was taking Riot at least five minutes to beat it.

Even though it was a monster, it wouldn’t attack him at his home when it tried to follow him. It just waits at the clearing and would do nothing else. Riot was fond of it, as it made a decent sparring partner for him.

As the two of them faced each other, the skeleton prepares its body as it puts it hands on guard while lowering its body posture. Its feet were firm on the ground, as it learned that Riot would just make it fall over and over again if he saw to it.

“Hoooh... so you’ve learned to balance your body, that’s good. I hope you can hit me this time as you basically learned all the basics in hand to hand combat.”

‘Glendell, don’t put power in my suit as always. I want to see its progress.’

~hai hai! Ten gold says that it can land an attack.~

The skeleton just looked at Riot without answering. But from the looks of it, it looked like it understood what Riot told him, as he nodded its head.

With that as an answer, it charges at Riot at an amazing speed for a skeleton. It did a roundhouse kick immediately in the beginning, but Riot sidesteps and delivered a blow to its ribcage. But the punch didn’t land as the skeleton’s body was not there. Riot looked at his side and saw it was charging at him at crouched position, aiming for a takedown. Riot hardens his feet to the ground as he takes on the charge from the skeleton. But with the abnormal strength it possessed, it lifted Riot and did a solid take down.

“Guh! Bastard, you’re stronger than you look!”

~I can already smell the gold in my imaginary hands! Fufufu!~

Riot guarded the back of his head as the ground was coming in contact to him. The blow was hard and painful, but he manages to resist the pain as he evaded the incoming strikes from the skeleton. He was on half guard, as he might think the skeleton would do a kimura – which he did yesterday and was surprised that the skeleton tapped out from that one – but it escaped from his guard and was outside of him. He tried to get up but the skeleton delivered some heavy knee blows to his kidney. As the skeleton once again delivered a knee, Riot instantly hold to its knee and manages to stand while evading the punches it throws. The skeleton escaped from his grasped and tried to deliver a straight punch however, Riot evaded it and lands a strong right counter to its face.

  *Gang!*

The skeleton was clearly dazed as it wobbles to get some space. But Riot took that opportunity and gave a low kick to its legs. The skeleton tries to defend its legs to the upcoming kick but there was no kick being delivered.

  It was a feint!

With its upper part not on guard, Riot did a superman punch with the help of the feint kick’s momentum. The punch perfectly landed on its face, which made the skeleton crumpled on the floor.

“Wooh! That was good! Not only did you land a clean strike, you also manage to take me down.”

Even though his body still aches from the pain, he was refreshed as this was the first time that made him sweat in a spar with the skeleton. It was becoming more and more stronger as the days past but he didn’t mind, as he knew he wouldn’t harm anything as long as it didn’t attack it first.

The skeleton was still on the ground, it looked like it was satisfied but who would know as it had no emotions from its face. Riot looked at it one last time as maybe it still hasn’t given up and want some more beat downs. But it looked like it had enough for today as it didn’t stand up.

“Well, now were done... on to the next on the list!”

~Hai hai! Next one is trimming the goblin’s population again.~

‘Oh, it’s that time of the month huh...’

~yeah but lately, every time we kill them, more and more goblins pop out replacing the ones we have killed. At this rate, they would flood out from the forest and attack a nearby locale.~

A month after coming to this world, Riot was slowly reclaiming a part of the forest, cutting down the trees and taking out the roots and rock from the ground. As he was doing this, he noticed that a large group of unknown creatures was heading directly to him. He conjured up his guns, ready to fire at any moment on what coming from the other side.

As he aimed his guns, goblins flooded out from the bush, running with frenzy towards Riot. He answered them with hails of bullets as he emptied his magazines. There were still a lot of goblins going out from the thicket, but luckily for him, a lot of light arrows were raining down on the goblins killing them in one shot.

It was the flock of sheep he left at the pen. They saw the goblins and did a group attack, shaving almost all goblins. Riot cleaned up the rest of the surviving goblins in the area. He also heard a commotion inside the trees and saw the skeleton killing the retreating ones.

With all the bodies of the goblins, destroying his land, he tried burning them but it might destroy his plants. He had an idea that he should just give it to the carnivorous giant tiger that attacked him on his first night. The tigers didn’t attack him like what the sheep did to him. Instead they just went to the pile of corpses and feast on it. He did this twice in one month, on his earth calendar as he didn’t know how the measure their days here, and gave the meats of the goblins to the carnivorous creatures in the forest. Because of that, almost all creatures there were loyal to him or that they wouldn’t attack him.

‘What’s more is that they are slowly destroying this ecosystem in the forest. I think it is time to pull out the weed from its roots.’

~oh master’s being scary! Well you do have a point. I kind of like it here, and it’s a drag to look for a new place to live.~

But with this problem that the goblin’s population was getting out of hand, even when he was regularly trimming it, he decided to destroy them for good.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

He quickly left, leaving behind the skeleton and went to the volcano. But before he could go near it, he saw countless of goblins in the surrounding, making tents, hunting and making weapons. This was clearly larger than he expected it to be.

‘This might be a problem... we should kill first the surrounding goblins quietly and once we’re done, we’ll head inside the cave.’

~Roger that, so what choice of weapon would like it to be? A grenade launcher? Or maybe and rocket propelled grenade? Or better yet a –~

  ‘I said quietly remember?’

~boohoo! You’re no fun. So what weapon is it?~

‘Something up close and personal; how about a dual karambit knife?’

  ~Ohh! I take it back! Master’s very cool!~

Faint lights begin to wrap up both of his hands as it was taking the form of karambit knives. It was a peculiar kind of knife, as it was hold in a back grip style. The blade of the knife was double edged and was forming as small scythe pointing at the front, lining with his knuckles. It also had a ring at the end of its handle on which you insert your pointing finger for firmer grip.

It was a beautiful set of knives as its blade had the same colour of the vermillion dagger that they used against the devils. It was also very sharp as it sliced up a rock cleanly without any resistance.

With it, Riot silently walked to the first group of goblins he saw. They were a group of hunters, as they were carrying makeshift bows. They were leaving from their place which makes a good prey for him. He climbs to a tree just ahead of them while waiting for them to come to the tree.

As hunters, they were sloppy as they were very noisy that they scared the animals on the clearing. Once they saw a small critter, they quickly pulled their bows and tried hitting their target. But it didn’t hit it as the arrows were not even near the critter. The critter runs fast to the bush, escaping from the hunters. It made them made and made a chase, going through the tree, where Rio was hiding.

  ‘Idiots through and through...’

  ~right?~

When the hunters were below him, he jumps down and crushed one of the goblins at the back. It looked like the others didn’t notice it as they were still looking for the critter that escaped from them. With that he quietly sliced their necks one by one, without any sounds coming from his victims. It was a clean kill as not one blood was on his body.

‘That was fun, on to the next group.’

  ~Let me try it too...~

‘Non non... you have a mountain of works to do tonight.’

  ~Uwah... a demon...~

After their short conversation, Riot continued hunting hunters that leave the place or any unfortunate goblins that would go farther from the volcano. He was slowly thinning the numbers of the goblin without having them noticed any of it. As the sun was already high, the only goblins left were the ones near the entrance of the cave. They didn’t notice anything as there were no smells of blood or any noises of death throes.

~Master’s great! They are not noticing that a snake has bitten their body and they’re slowly dying from it.~

‘I-I’m not sure if that was a compliment or an insult.’

~fufufuf... well, it looks like it’s time to wrap this up with their numbers, you can already take them head on.~

‘The CZ Scorpion EVO3 S1 Pistol with extended mags. With my upgraded suit and mask, and also equipped with some flash grenades for precautions.’

  ~now that’s what I’m talking about!~

Within a second, Riot’s body was covered with protective gears. His vision blurred for a moment – indicating that his masked was already equipped – and was now seeing a map at the top right corner of his vision. He also saw the number of bullets that was currently loaded in his gums on the bottom right corner. And lastly a gauge bar on the left side of his vision, which somehow measures the danger level of an opponent.

With guns on both his hands and flash grenade strap across his body, he runs quickly to the first batch of goblins that was stationed near the entrance of the cave. The goblins were just lazing around, waiting for the hunters to return with some game. They heard a noise coming from the thicket, expecting it were the hunter so they not on guard.

Suddenly jumping out of the bushes, with guns pointing out in the faces of the surprised goblins, Riot squeezed the trigger. Indicating it was the start of the party.

  *BRATATATATATATATATATA!!!*

  “”Gyaaahhh!!”” – Goblins

Goblins from left to right quickly fell down, as if they were puppet whose strings were cut. They didn’t have the time to organize their thought, much more to defend themselves. As the last goblin fell, Riot reloaded his guns even though there were no bullets in it.

‘Tell me, why do I have to reload every time the number goes down to zero? When I first started using this, it was an unlimited ammo kind of a deal.’

~Well, from what I saw the ring drew powers from the Creator but since his not here, I’m currently drawing powers from you. Which is suffice to say; not much.~

The surrounding goblins heard the thunderous noise and quickly run to the source. They saw a strange looking human who was just standing there without a care in the world. They quickly surrounded him as they saw their fallen brother riddled with holes.

‘Hoh... for them to come here, they are very courageous are they not? They are the total opposite of what I heard from Akira.’

~tsk! They are destroying the image of the goblins of my Onee-san! Kill them and let the animal eat their entrails! Che!~

  ‘...’

  .........

R-right... u-uhmmm... as Riot was surrounded by the goblins, he quickly scattered the grenades he had to them. They were curious as nothing happened, but their expectations were betrayed as a strong light burst out from it. It still had the same effects, as those near the grenades were burned, but only much weaker. The further ones were blinded by the light and even some of them had their vision permanently taken from them as there were smoke coming out from their eye sockets.

  *BRATATATATATATA!*

Riot then rained bullets to the defenceless goblins, mowing their numbers down at a rapid pace. Some of them tried to hide from their wooden shields, but it was no use as the bullets passed through the woods and went in to their heads. Some tried recklessly charging straight at him, but were mowed down from the unstoppable force of the bullets. Others hide behind the trees, waiting for the nightmare to end.

  *Click**Click*

  “Tsk.” – Riot

~not my fault... you had an indication at your vision, but you had too much fun with the slaughter. I don’t blame you.. fufufufu~

As the noise died down the goblins looked out from their hidings, looking at the strange human who was currently busy reloading the guns. They thought that it was the end for that nightmare and quickly tried to attack him again.

As they were drawing closer to him, Riot drop the guns, turning into particles of white light without ever touching the ground, and raised his right hand. White lights were gathering there and with a slashing motion, the front goblins on the wave were cut in half. Blood raining down as the upper bodies were flying.

  “Vita”

It was a odachi, a longer version of a katana, which was Riot’s rendition of the ‘Armour Biter’ bastard sword. The reason was that with the odachi, he can move with it better as he had used it a number of times in Earth. The other reason was that if by chance, he was to go to visit a village, the people who see it wouldn’t mind as it was an unknown weapon and that they wouldn’t think it was the famous sword of their land. He renamed the sword as it was requested by Glendell, but when he named it to ‘Vita’, the ring suddenly stayed quiet and murmured: That was the stupidest name that can be given to a sword. It’s a Japanese sword for crying out loud! A Japanese!

Riot just smiled wryly while remembering it. He then focused on the enemies in front of him and slashed them skilfully without having to think about their metal plating in their bodies. With them trying to kill Riot, using their numbers as an advantage, the made the wrong choice as they were like pigs going to the slaughterhouse.

He exterminated all the goblins outside of the cave, with the only remaining are in the inside. They didn’t leave the cave as the slaughter was going on, which made him a little cautious as to why they hadn’t made a single move. There were a lot of reactions coming from the map, indicating that a lot of creatures were inside.

  “Aegis”

He exchanged his sword with his rendition of the prince’s shield. It much smaller compared to its original size, as its radius only covers from the elbow to his hand. But with this, he can defend much easier from an incoming attack of a fast opponent. He can also throw it much accurately as it was much smaller.

He went inside the cave, ready for any attacks that were coming. But there were no arrows coming for him, no goblins throwing spear or even he was expecting some magic attacks, but there was none. But the radar was indicating that a lot of lives wear inside here. It was a dark cave and the only source of light was coming from the magna in the furthest part of the cave. It was very hot that beads of sweats were forming in Riot’s face.

  “H..” - ?

  ‘?’

  “He-help us” - ?

He could hear whispers coming further inside the cave. As it was calling for help he immediately went to its source. As he was an ex-hero, the cry for help made is body involuntarily run to it with haste. When he reached his destination, there he saw an overly large goblin. Its back was facing Riot, as it was clearly busy with its dinner.

  “Help us!” - ?

  “Please! Free us!”

As the voices were getting clearer, he saw what was making it. Countless of small lights, trapped inside of various cages were hanging on the ceiling. As Riot concentrated on those lights, he could see small humanoid figures with a size as tall as his hand. They were a lot of them trapped inside tightly the cage, like fishes in a can. What was more of a surprised was that it had wings growing in their backs.

“Stop him! He’s gonna eat my daughter!” – Fairy

“N-no! Save! Save me!!” – Young Fairy

With a shout coming from one of the fairies, he concentrated on where it was pointing. There, he saw the fat goblin holding down its wing as it tried to flee. It was holding him like some emperors eat their grapes in a movie. As the fairy was slowly being descended to the goblin’s mouth, Riot threw the shield right through the fat goblin’s hand.

  “GRAAHHH!” – Fat Goblin

  “Kyaaah!” – Young Fairy

  *Thud!*

The fairy fell to the table shouting so loudly, thinking that she was in the mouth of the goblin. She was trashing hard fighting the air so hard that it made her look ridiculous in the serious scenario.

“Yah! Yah Dare! GRAAAAAHHHHH!” – Fat Goblin

~it’s supposed to be a unique goblin but the gauge isn’t even a quarter full... che! ~

The goblin held its severed hand that was missing an arm. He tried to stop the bleeding but it was clearly hopeless, as it was gushing out like an open faucet. This goblin was much taller than the others as it was two meters tall, much taller than Riot in fact. Its body was wider than the giant boars that he was taking care of. But its arms were thicker than Riot’s body, and it would clearly hurt if he would be struck by it.

  ~Master, look what's at the table...~

“Puny human! Don’t yah insek know who is I? I is da ruler of all great goblins! I is the wan who will conquer all Of J?rterra! I is the greyt Goblin Ki–*BANG!* –... Ki... Ki...“ – Goblin Ki?

  *THUD!*

  “Peacemaker...” – Riot

  ~It’s High noon Bitch~

But before Goblin Ki could finish its sentence, a loud noise interrupted his weird speech. Riot was holding a magum “Peacemaker” series and it was pointed at the head of Goblin Ki. There was a huge hole in Goblin Ki’s forehead and its life was taken away just before it fell to the floor. Blood splattered at the floor at intense speed almost covering the whole room.

But Riot didn’t mind it as he was still looking at the countless plucked wings forming a mountain at the side of the table. There were numerous of it compared to the surviving fairies in the cages.

He went to the still trashing fairy on the looking at her curiously; as he doesn’t have a clue on how to talk to it. He tried gently poking her and she even trash much wilder.

“No! I will not die without a fight! Take this! This is for my family!” – Stupid Fairy

She bit Riot’s finger hard, but it was so soft that he didn’t felt it. Tired of the stupid act of the fairy, he lightly flicks her head, grabbing her attention.

  “Oww! Huh? I’m alive?!” – Dim-witted Fairy

“Of course you are. How about helping me find the ke–?!” – Riot

But before Riot could finish his sentence the fairy hugged his hands, crying that she couldn’t believe that she was still alive. Riot just looked at the other captive fairies and saw that all of them were also crying. So he just waited for the crying to die down so that he could help them with the keys.

“Uuh... *Hic!**Sniff!* thank you mister... without your help, we would’ve been eaten by that monster.” – Young Fairy

“Oh yes! Thank you so much! *Sniff!*” – Fairy 1

“*Sob* Tha-thank you for saving my daughter. How can I ever repay you?” – Fairy 2

All the fairies started thanking him for saving their lives. With how Goblin Ki was eating, he would’ve eaten the entire race today. It was their lucky star as Riot decided to end the Goblins that were destroying the forest.

  ‘Hey Glendell.’

  ~hmm?~

‘Could you explain to me, how on earth I could understand them? By logic, they have a different language right? Like in earth: different places, different tongue’

~and different flavours! If you know what I mean... fufufu... well about that, I can somehow translate what they are saying and would engrave the data of their tongues so that you can also use it.~

  ‘What a cheat.’

  “H-hey mister?” – Young Fairy

“Hmmm? Oh sorry about that, I was thinking about something.” – Riot

“Wow! You know our language?! I got anxious if you can’t understand me. Can I ask a favour? Could you help me releasing my kin?” – Young Fairy

“Oh yeah, I was about to do that, but somehow I can’t find the keys.” – Riot

He looked for the keys, but strangely, it wasn’t on Goblin Ki’s body nor was it on the table. He put all the cages on the table, figuring out on how to unlock it. There wasn’t a keyhole to be found nor a hinged that would open a part of it. It was completely sealed shut.

“Hey, how did that Fat Goblin opened these cages?” – Riot

“About that, the Goblin King has an immense strength and he could just tear the metal cages barehanded. See there! Yup those were all the cages that he opened.” – Young Fairy

When she pointed at the dozen of broken cages, sorrow could be seen in her face as tear were uncontrollably falling down. With those cages, it was clear it reached a hundred before the Goblin King was stopped.

“Viria, oh my baby!” – Fairy

  “Mommy! Wahhh!! – Viria

Viria hugged her mom who was still in the cage, as she wept uncontrollably. Riot looked at them softly as he knew the feeling of losing someone close.

  ‘Hey Glen.’

  ~yes yes, I’m here!~

‘Is there by chance that if I equipped by tactical combat gloves, would it boost my grip strength?’

~oh! I could do that! No hay problema Se?or ~

Lights covered both arms of Riot, as the tactical gloves were structuring up. The lights were seen by the fairies and they were immediately captivated by it. They temporarily forgot that they were captured and basked on the relaxing light in front of them.

  “Beautiful.” – Viria

Viria unconsciously murmured that word, but every fairy agreed with she said. As the lights slowly vanished from his hands, what replaced it was a jet black gloves that somehow is drawing the lights in the room and sucking it in.

‘It took longer to conjure up this one.’

~well, this one was done impromptu, it wasn’t like the others that we planned and this would usually take at least an hour to make. ~

‘Yeah, let’s be done with this and home, it took us a while and this is eating our time.’

Riot tried to forcefully open the cage but what was most he could do was bend the bars, making a means of access for the fairies to escape. One by one they escape their prison and were happy, they cried again and hugged each other, while Riot was still open the other cages.

  ‘Talk about a surreal surrounding.’

As all the fairies were free, they flew in the air and happily dancing with the others. Viria and her mother were just hugging each other at the table, looking at their families happily. Most of them didn’t look at the plucked wings as it would only make them depress. But some of them were there, kneeling and crying for the lost of their loved ones.

‘Fuck, it’s hot in hear. Let’s get out.’

~well, you've already saved them. So mission complete! A+! ~

  ‘A+? Not S?’

~well your accuracy when you were killing the goblins was 87.43%. And not to men—~

  “E-excuse me, Mister!” – Viria

As the fairies were still celebrating, Riot was planning on going home. He didn’t care on what the fairies would do after this incident. This was a general rule from The Guardians that ‘Not to involve yourselves anymore than it already is.’ Never be there always as they would depend on you always, they would start being careless and go to dangerous area as they know that you would always be there to help them.

  ‘*sigh* ‘

  ~*sigh*~

“Yes? What is it?” – Riot

Riot stopped and looked at the fairy. All the other fairies stopped all the activities that they were doing and looked at Riot. All of them were grateful for what he did, so they looked at him like he was their hero.

“Thank you so much for saving us.” – Viria

All the fairies bowed, some of them bowed while hovering so Riot had mixed feelings about that. Being thanked, he just nods his head lightly.

“Well, that’s alright. Since I've taken too much time here, I need to go home now or my dream house project would be delayed. Goodbye.”

With that said, he left the fairies inside the room dumbfounded, and went out of the cave.
