Arrived in another world
When he woke up with a start, he found himself lying in a forest.
She sat up hastily, looking around at the dark and gloomy forest that surrounded her, the heavy mist making her shiver all over. Where was she?
At this moment, a faint red glow emanated from beside her. As soon as she shifted her gaze downward, she discovered that the sword's surface, which had previously been sealed with talismans, was now flowing with a layer of red light. Instead of feeling afraid, Xuan Yueran felt an inexplicable sense of calmness and reached out to grasp the precious sword. A warm sensation coursed through her body, causing her to involuntarily wrap her arms around it, her face serene and at peace.
"Captain, over there!" A sudden voice came, and the sound of many footsteps made Xuan Yan raise her vigilance, pick up her sword and stand up, running towards the only guiding light in the distance.
All the way, she felt strange that this sword was lighter than it looked on the surface, and it didn't take any effort to hold it. What made her puzzled was that although she was clearly in the warehouse, how did she end up in the forest.
After walking for a long time, Xuan Xiran passed through the dense forest and hid in a safe corner, looking out through the grass. She couldn't help but gasp at what she saw outside - the city was unlike anything she had ever seen before. The buildings around her were not from her world; each house was independent, beautifully designed, and varied in size. They lined the spacious roads, with vendors setting up stalls freely on the streets. Although their clothes didn't differ much from hers, what struck her as odd was that almost everyone had hair and eye colors that were different from one another, just like herself. What's more, she saw several men wearing Milanese armor that only covered their waists, the armor a dazzling silver color. They held identical double-handed swords and marched in formation down the street, appearing to be on patrol.
If Xuan Yiran thought she hadn't been dreaming, then she must have arrived in the original Europe of the past. Those people who looked like knights were not in China at all.
Xuan Yan hastily withdrew her gaze, took a deep breath, and calmly reflected on her previous encounters. She then looked down at the magical sword in her hand, which was no longer emitting red light. Thinking about the strange scene that resembled a magic array she had seen earlier, she forced out a bitter smile, absurdly feeling that she must have arrived in a completely non-existent other world.
How could something so unrealistic happen to oneself? Yet, she looked out at the strange world outside and wondered if her own feelings were false.
