Chapter 23: An Unexpected Encounter with Senior Sister
In the spacious villa, a young man was looking at the documents handed over by the butler, and the bright sunlight passing through the glass window shone on his handsome side face. His thin lips curled up into a faintly indifferent smile when he saw the familiar photo in the materials.
"Master..." Seeing the man's cold and handsome face on the seat, he felt a little nervous.
"How is the young lady doing?" He walked slowly by the window, his hands elegantly inserted into the pockets of his casual attire, and asked indifferently with his back to the butler.
"Uh-huh, since the last incident, she has been practicing dance very hard every day."
"I understand, tell them to protect the young lady well and only intervene when necessary." Lin Ze Chen spoke indifferently, narrowing his eyes as he slightly tilted his head at a 45-degree angle, basking in the warm sunlight. The inherent noble aura that came with being a king accentuated his extraordinary presence everywhere.
"Yes."
Since the beginning of autumn, it has rained for the first time. The fresh air is filled with a faint scent of jasmine flowers, and the temperature has dropped significantly. When the cold wind blows, the arms wearing short-sleeved shirts can always see goosebumps dancing. Stronger boys still wear Jin Yi's white short-sleeved school uniform, while weaker girls have started to wear slightly thicker long-sleeved shirts.
Lin Yuchen walked out of the dance studio with a book in her arms, and as she passed by the campus road, she saw the jasmine petals that had been knocked to the ground after the rain. Smelling the faint fragrance, she thought of that devil who seemed to like the scent of jasmine too.
She bent down and picked up a jasmine petal that had been washed away by the rain. The faint scent of jasmine wafted around her, refreshing her mind and spirit. She lifted her head to a 60-degree angle and took a deep breath, letting the fragrance of the jasmine slowly fill her lungs, savoring the delightful sensation.
"What's on your mind?" Suddenly, a series of high-heeled shoes kissing the cement floor came from behind her, but this not-so-small sound seemed to have no effect on the person immersed in their own world.
"Lin Yuchen?" The person called out to her again when she didn't react.
"Hmm... oh..." She opened her eyes and turned around to look at the person who called her, with a slightly flustered expression.
"Studying... older sister, how is it you?" Turning her head around, she saw Liu Xinyi wearing a princess-like dress, with a sweet and delicate feeling that made her feel dazzling.
"Uh-huh, it's me. What are you thinking about? You're so absorbed." The sweet voice jumped into her ears, and looking at that beautiful and lovely face, she still couldn't connect her with the Xīn Yǐ (Heart Desire) sister that Weiwei had mentioned.
"Nothing. Senior sister, how did you end up here?"
"I just went to a dance studio." She carefully sized up the girl in front of her, who looked a bit weak, and wondered what charm she had that could make Prince Yan not even give her a glance.
"Oh... I heard from Vivian that you used to practice dance here too, I really admire your achievements in dance." She sincerely praised her, Vivian had shown her videos of her past competitions, every move was beautiful.
"You're overpraising me, I'm not as good as you say." She smiled at this innocent-looking girl, admitting that she had a better foundation in dance, but to shine in the dance circle, she still lacked a bit of aura.
"I'm serious..." She smiled with narrowed eyes, her face full of envy and admiration.
"I heard you're a transfer student?"
"Yes."
"Jin Yi is a school for nobles, how did you think of transferring here?" As far as she knew, she wasn't the child of a noble, and coming to study here would definitely lead to her being looked down upon.
"Uh... I came here to learn dance." She understood what she meant and still smiled as she answered her question.
"Is it just for this?" She looked at her with some incredulity.
"Ah, dance is my life." She lifted her head and told her with a determined gaze the importance of dance to her.
