Shaolin and Wudang have had a long-standing feud, with obvious differences. After that, Shaolin became even more strict. In the fall, Master ordered to unify the costumes of all Shaolin disciples in Jianghu, but trouble came immediately after. After unifying the costumes, there were counterfeit ones in the market, and some people bought Shaolin costumes and committed robbery and deception, seriously deceiving the people. Master was very puzzled, wondering why no one impersonated Wudang. I said that everyone in Wudang wore casual clothes, but Master took comfort in the fact that Wudang had done many evil deeds and didn't need to impersonate anyone, while Shaolin's image had always been high, so people were easily deceived.

The master listened without expression, thinking that the appearance is only secondary, and the outside world is noisy, the clear ones are self-clear, the main thing is to have a difference in cultivation and Wudang. The word "endurance" is a kind of skill, with the blade hanging on the heart, retreating an inch would not be endurance, advancing an inch would not be benevolence. We quietly ponder the degree of endurance. In fact, the word "endurance" is not difficult, isn't it just holding back? The key is that the "degree" is hard to grasp, if we act too early, we will have no difference with Wudang, this is Shaolin's great taboo; if we act too late, we would have been beaten to death, naturally very foolish.

My senior fellow disciple is called Shi Kong, and our master must not like him very much. His background is quite special. When we go out together, he's always the first to take action. The key is that he doesn't possess the Buddhist spirit at all. Not only among us does he always take the lead in acting, but even between friends and foes, he's always the first one. I think he only remembers one sentence from our master's over 10,000 words: "Endure what can no longer be endured, need not endure." And it's the second half of that sentence.
