Chapter 4 New Home
Sitting in a Mercedes-Benz, Zhen and I quickly arrived at the Half Mountain area. I couldn't help but be amazed by how beautiful it was here, with villas and gardens everywhere. Although my family is very wealthy, I've never lived in a villa because I think this type of house is too wasteful. After all, I'm just one person living alone, why would I need such a big place? And at night, being alone in such a large space makes me feel empty and lonely. I don't like that feeling, but my younger brother is the opposite, he likes the high-and-mighty feeling, maybe it's related to him being the second-in-command of the "Night" gang.
Before long, the car stopped in front of a large villa. The driver immediately ran over to open the door for us: "Miss, Master has arrived! Here are the car keys for you, and inside, the old master has arranged for servants, chefs, and bodyguards, so you can rest assured. By the way, Miss, tomorrow is your first day of school, would you like me to come pick you up if you're not familiar with the environment?"
"Oh! Never mind, I'm from the same school as Cheng, I'll get him to give me a ride." I said with a smile to the driver uncle.
"Alright then! Thank you, young master!" He said, bowing slightly towards us before turning around to leave.
"Wait a minute!" What is this kid doing? Always wait, wait... can't he say anything else?!
The driver heard the call and came back: "Young master, is there anything else you'd like to instruct?"
"En." said Lan coldly.
"I don't know, young master, is there anything else you'd like to instruct us to do? We'll try our best to satisfy your requirements." The driver said with a smile.
"Alright, fire the chef, we don't need him." Zhen said coldly before walking into the house.
"Hey!" I caught up from behind and said "Why don't we want a chef, who's going to cook for us?"?
Coldly spat out a single word: "You."
"What? Why me, won't you?" I exclaimed excitedly.
While Cheng Ben didn't even bother with me and walked into the hall alone.
"Hello young master! Hello young miss!"
"Hello young master! Hello young lady!"
"Hello young master! Hello young miss!"
The two maids and the butler in the hall shouted in unison.
"Hello! From now on, don't call me Miss, just call me Han. I flashed my sweet smile after finishing speaking, while Cheng walked over to the sofa and sat down: "You all go back! This place doesn't need you."
"Huh??"
"Huh??"
I and the butler simultaneously expressed our puzzlement.
"What's wrong? Can't you understand?" said Cheng coldly.
"Oh! Not so, young master, we'll be right back." After finishing speaking, the butler took the two maids and left. Only us were left in the house, I was a bit angry: "You've driven them all away, who's going to sweep such a big house in the future?"
"I'll call a part-time worker, don't worry about it, just focus on making food for me and that's all I care about. You wouldn't want to see me speaking only a few words all day long either!"
"Also true, you've been with me since I was little until now, thinking about it, those few months without this little devil, I really wasn't used to it."
"Me too!" Ting said with a slight nod: "I'll have to squeeze in time to marry you, or else I'll be even more miserable when eating."
"Alright! To make up for it, I'll cook for you every day from now on, okay?" I said helplessly.
"You've said it, don't regret it later!"
"Alright! I'm going now."
