The boy playing the piano

  The boy playing the piano

I slowly got up and rubbed my numb legs. It's not class time now, how can someone be playing the piano in the room?

Near the door, one of them lost their balance and suddenly rushed towards the door.

  What?!

Looking at the boy sitting upright beside the piano, I feel like I'm really out of luck.

This is a music classroom, with various musical instruments neatly arranged around the walls. In the center of the spacious room stands a white piano. At this moment, a boy who usually appears indifferent is now playing with a sorrowful expression on his face, his fingers flying across the keys as smooth and melodious notes flow out. The sunlight outside is shining brightly, illuminating the interior to a dazzling degree. His silhouette casts a beautiful arc on the polished floor, and his black clothes reflect a faint glow.

He had a moment of stunned expression when he saw me appear, and then immediately recovered.

Shangguan Yi actually had such a sad expression, which made me feel somewhat indigestible.

He always has a sullen face, with an aloof expression that looks good but feels hard to approach, speaks little, and wears black clothes.

These are all my memories of him.

"Sorry to disturb you." I forced a smile, trying to keep myself calm.

As I spoke, I closed the door that I had accidentally pushed open and planned to leave immediately. If I stayed any longer, I was afraid he would kill me with his glare.

After all, who wouldn't feel annoyed if their private thoughts were seen by others.

"Would you like to hear me play another one?" The door was just about to close when Shangguan Yi's voice came, warm and pleasant.

I awkwardly stopped closing the door, he was looking at me with a hint of stardust in his eyes.

Shangguan Yi's words suddenly made me feel that the young man in front of me might be lonely, taking advantage of the absence of people to come here and play the piano. The surrounding instruments were cold and lifeless, and the music could only be played for himself to hear. No matter how beautiful and moving it was, it was always incomplete, lacking the soul, and ultimately empty and void.

I slowly walked up to him and was pulled down beside him.
