“Blood of Kings… and the End of the Old Era”

Just as the mana sphere, which threatened to engulf half the city, was about to be unleashed, another presence emerged. With it came a brilliant light that drowned out the darkness, accompanied by a powerful voice:

“Night King! Cease this senseless massacre!”

But the black dragon did not stop. He was moments away from launching his devastating attack—

Until something massive, moving at an unfathomable speed, seized the mana sphere and hurled it skyward.

A cataclysmic explosion followed, one that shattered the clouds and tore them apart with its sheer intensity. As the dust settled, the figure that had intervened was revealed—

A white dragon, gleaming like freshly fallen snow beneath the moonlight.

Night King (furious): “Why did you stop me, Sun King?! Have you decided to side with these wretched creatures?”

Sun King (coldly): “You know how much I despise them, but they are still living beings. Haven’t you committed enough sins already? Must you stain your hands further? I barely managed to stop the others from killing you.”

  Night King: “I don’t care… I want my child!”

  —

While the Dragon Kings were locked in a heated argument, neither of them noticed Blood King, who had already slipped away.

Through a hidden passage behind the bloodstained throne, he hurried down to the castle’s underground chamber.

There, in the dim glow of flickering torches, stood a woman wrapped in a dark cloak, clutching a large egg close to her chest. At her feet, a magic circle pulsed with energy.

Blood King (urgently): “Step into the center of the circle! We don’t have time!”

The woman hesitated, tears welling in her eyes. Her voice trembled as she whispered:

  “I’m sorry… for everything.”

Blood King (offering a bittersweet smile): “It was worth it.”

Without further delay, he activated the spell—

A portal of eerie crimson light erupted before them, and as soon as the woman stepped through it—

  She vanished.

  —

At that moment, realization struck the Night King like a thunderbolt. His eyes widened in sheer rage, and he let out a roar so powerful that it made the very earth tremble.

With a single sweep of his massive tail, he obliterated the castle, sending debris flying in every direction.

Beneath the ruins stood Blood King, laughing hysterically.

Blood King (mockingly): “I did it… you’ll never find them!”

Night King (eyes blazing with fury): “You bastard! Where have you taken my wife and child?!”

Sun King (calmly): “Your anger will accomplish nothing. Stand down.”

Night King: “Stand down?! My wife and child are gone!”

Suddenly, a thick mist enveloped the battlefield, swirling around the two dragons.

Their massive forms began to shrink as their scales receded, wings dissolving into the mist, until they stood in their human forms.

Night King—a tall man with jet-black hair, eyes swirling like galaxies, and skin dark as the abyss.

Sun King—a radiant figure with golden hair, piercing sky-blue eyes, and an aura that shimmered like the dawn itself.

Without hesitation, Night King surged forward, seizing Blood King by the throat, lifting him off the ground.

Night King (snarling): “Where is my child? Speak!”

Yet, despite his breath being stolen, Blood King only laughed.

Blood King (grinning through gasps): “He’s my nephew… why would I harm him?”

  Then—

A gust of wind swept through the ruins.

A chilling breeze, carrying with it a sense of foreboding.

And in that moment, something terrifying was revealed.

Blood King’s chest—a gaping hole where his heart should have been.

The Dragon Kings froze, eyes widening in disbelief.

Sun King (hesitantly): “Your heart… where is it?”

A slow, eerie smile spread across Blood King’s lips. His voice, barely a whisper, sent shivers through the air:

“I gave it to my nephew… and with it, I shall create the greatest race this world has ever seen.”
