Chapter 59: Chu Xueran's Decision
Yan Jing thought for a moment, then asked, "Chu Xueran, do you have any plans to take revenge on your brother?"
Chu Xueran's hands stopped massaging Yan Jing's waist. "What are you talking about?" he asked, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"I'm asking if you plan to take back what belongs to you," Yan Jing replied, his voice low and mysterious.
Chu Xueran snorted. "I don't need to take revenge on my brother. I have everything I need right here."
Yan Jing raised an eyebrow. "You're not even a little bit angry about being kicked out of the company?"
Chu Xueran shrugged. "What's the point of getting angry? It's all in the past now. Besides, we're living well enough as it is. Why bother with those things?"
Yan Jing looked at Chu Xueran with a mixture of surprise and admiration. He had never expected Chu Xueran to be so calm and collected about the whole situation.
Just then, Yan Jing's phone rang. He picked it up and listened for a moment before hanging up. "I have to go," he said, getting up from the bed.
Chu Xueran looked at him in surprise. "Where are you going?"
Yan Jing smiled mischievously. "I'm going to break up with Su Zhanzhan."
Chu Xueran's eyes widened in shock. "What? Why?"
Yan Jing grinned. "Because I've decided to be with you, of course."
Chu Xueran's face turned bright red as he realized what Yan Jing was saying. He quickly looked away, trying to hide his embarrassment.
Yan Jing chuckled and leaned over to kiss Chu Xueran on the cheek. "Don't worry, I'll be back soon. And when I am, we can start our new life together."
Chu Xueran's heart skipped a beat as he watched Yan Jing walk out the door. He couldn't believe that Yan Jing was actually choosing him over Su Zhanzhan.
As he lay back down on the bed, Chu Xueran couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness about what the future held for them.
