"A long time ago," Naoki began, "there were two legendary Pokémon known as Groudon and Kyogre."
"One represehe nd, and the other the sea. They were locked in an endless battle, each trying to expand their dominion. Groudon's power caused the earth to scord the voloes to erupt, while Kyogre's influence brought torrential rains and massive floods."
"Their csh was so intehat the entire world lunged into chaos. Heavy rains and dense dark clouds bhe skies, making it seem like the world was nearing its end."
"The people, desperate and terrified, began to pray for salvation. They turheir hopes to the heavens, pleading for someoo intervene and save them."
Naoki's voice grew softer, more dramatic. "And then, as if in respoo their prayers, the dark clouds parted, and a beam of radiant light pierced through the sky."
"A majestid heroic Dragon-type Pokémon desded from the heavens. It was Rayquaza, the protector of the skies."
"Rayquaza's power was unparalleled. It fronted Groudon and Kyogre and ehem in a fierce battle. The Dragon Pokémon's strength and will proved superior, and after punishing them severely, it forced Groudon to retreat deep into the voloes and Kyogre to slumber in an uer cave."
"The world was saved. To honor Rayquaza's heroism, the people built the Sky Pilr, a t mohat reaches the heavens. Inside, murals were paio immortalize the tale of Rayquaza's bravery and its act of saving the world."
As Naoki finished, he looked at the three dragon-type Pokémon before him. They gazed at him with wide-eyed admiration, fully enraptured by the story.
Cyclizar was the first to react. "Gaoo!" (That's amazing!)
Dragonite was so immersed iale that it puffed out its chest as though imagining itself as the hero of the story. Koraidon's face twitched with emotion, its usually calm demeanor showing a flicker of awe.
Naoki chuckled. "Dragonite, you know, you've actually seen Rayquaza and Kyogre before," he said, recalling an old story.
Dragoilted its head, fused. "Awoo?" (Really?)
"Remember st year, when you told me about entering a mysterious shiny dragon in the eye of a typhoon at sea?" Naoki prompted.
Dragonite froze, its eyes widening as a shiny, serpentine figure fshed in its memory.
"Awoo!" (That was Rayquaza?)
Naoki nodded with a grin. "And the enormous blue Pokémon you battled at sea, the ohat bested you, was her than Kyogre, the lord of the os."
Dragonite seemed a bit taken aback. Back then, the Pokémon hadn't introduced itself, so it had always assumed it was just a particurly strong, big fish-like Pokémon."
"You're incredibly lucky," Naoki said.
Dragonite's chest swelled with pride, while Cyclizar looked at it with newfound admiration.
"Alright, the story's over. Time for bed," Naoki said, rising to his feet.
But Dragonite was too excited to sleep. Onaoki left, it turo Koraidon and Cyclizar, its eyes gleaming with determination. "Awooo!" (Let's go find Rayquaza!)
Koraidon sighed, its expression unreadable. "Ah gah…" (Sounds pointless.) It turned and flopped onto the grass, ued.
Dragohen turo Cyclizar. "Awooo?" (What about you?)
Cyclizar hesitated. "Gao..." (I'd love to, but I don't have wings to fly.)
Dragonite frowhoughtfully but sohtened with an idea. It proposed putting Cyclizar into its Poké Ball and carrying it in a backpack while flying.
Cyclizar's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Gaoo!" (That's brilliant!)
But the pn wasn't foolproof. Naoki wouldn't approve of them leaving the ransupervised.
Dragonite, however, puffed out its chest fidently. "Awoo awooo!" (Don't worry! I'll fly so fast we'll be back by sunrise, before Naoki even notices!)
Cyclizar, swept up in Dragonite's enthusiasm, agreed. The two began pnning their secret nighttime adventure.
Cyclizar scurried bato the living room, where Calyrex was still watg TV. The king caught a glimpse of the Cyclizar's sneaky movements and, while a bit surprised, didn't say anything.
Cyclizar quickly found its Poké Ball from the rad darted out the door.
Cyclizar felt a mix of nerves aement c through it.
Outside, some of the Pokémon in the ranch were still awake.
Ogerpon was sitting on the grass, chatting with Butterfree. When Ogerpon spotted Cyclizar and Dragonite moving with a sense ency, it called out curiously:
"Pon?" (Where are you off to?)
Cyclizar and Dragourned around, and Dragohusiastically shared Dragonite's idea with Ogerpon and Butterfree.
When the pair revealed their pn to search for the legendary hero Rayquaza, Ogerpon's adventurous spirit fred up immediately.
"Pon! Pon!" (I want to e too!) Ogerpon's starry eyes sparkled with excitement.
Butterfree, who had spent most of its life on the ranch, buzzed with anticipation at the thought of su adventure.
Dragonite, exuding an air of authority, puffed out its chest and decred, "Awoo, awoo!" (Alright, but you both have to follow my lead!)
Ogerpon and Butterfree nodded eagerly.
Without dey, the two Pokémon snuto the living room, retrieved their Poké Balls from the rack, and hopped into them for easier travel.
Dragonite slung its trusty delivery bag over its shoulder, pced the three Poké Balls inside, and waved a wing at Koraidon, bidding farewell before setting off. Their silhouettes disappeared into the night sky as they embarked on their jouro find the legendary Rayquaza.
Watg them vanish into the stars, Koraido out a soft sigh.
"Raooo…"
