Jayr POV - Earth, Teppelin Region - 1007 AFA-SW

  A few weeks passed sihe Battle of Teppelin and the defeat of the Human Eradication Army and the "death" of the tyrannical Spiral King, and the Dai-Gurren Brigade passed most of that time running around dealing with the aftermath of this historic event.

  Of course, after our discussion that day, the first thing that they did was to celebrate their victory with an immense party that sted the whole day, while I, Lenome, and Guame discretely made the illusion of the Dekubatsu colpsing on itself while moving it away from sight while I used my Spiral Power in bination with Creation Magic to create very simir debris which could be used as proof of the Dekubatsu's destru and also be recycled as building materials.

  After the party is where things turned chaotid freic, as the members of the reinfort left to tell the other underground vilges the news of the Spiral King's demise and the possibility for them to e to the surface.

  Meanwhile, the member of the Dai-Gurren Brigade started to the battlefield and started to build the foundation to create the first, real city on the surface after a hell lot years, a city where hopefully a new aer society will rise.

  Oher hand, Viral started his journey around the world to gather all the Beastmehem the truth behind their in, their duty, and the Spiral King's st wish for them, to truly bee a plete race, and after that vihem to peacefully join the humans to create a stronger ford a better future for everyone.

  What I learned is that the Anti-Spiral Factor is truly something nasty, onfected by it, it merges within every sirand of that individual's DNA making it not only impossible to locate with the usual means, but also impossible to remove, any attempt to do so would basically destroy everything else causing the individual iion to die.

  Basically, the only way to free Nia from the Anti-Spiral Factor is to use Metamorphosis Magic to totally rewrite all her DNA into a pure human one, overwriting her "ied" DNA with a one, almost like taking care of a basiant puter virus, and sidering that the Anti-Spiral Factor turn a Spiral being into a virtual Anti-Spiral one, I think it is an apt parison.

  Luckily it also seems that there is only one carrier of the Anti-Spiral Factor at the time, because all the other people ied with the virus carrying it are all still normal ahy humans, with no sign of them carrying the Anti-Spiral Factor or something that would carry the possibility to be affected by it by the geion.

  And after further studying the virus, their bodies, and Lenome's own theories about the virus I finally learhat there be only oi-Spiral Factor at a time, and when the carrier dies, the Anti-Spiral Factor dies with it and at that moment, the virus is once again charged by Cathedral Terra with a rain of the Anti-Spiral Factor that will randomly choose a new carrier, basically, the true in of the Anti-Spiral Factor is Cathedral Terra, the virus only temporarily houses the Factor and install it into the best subject.

  It is a very quirky and faulty method, and for sure Antispiral could have done a lot worse with its capabilities, so the reason behind this only be behind the fact that Antispiral seems to always give the Spiral beings a ce to fight bad prove that he is wrong, that the Spiral Power won't truly go out of trol and cause the Spiral Nemesis.

  After all, Antispiral truly has enough power to wipe out all life from this universe, but that isn't its objective, a whole species created it as they collectively formed the Anti-Spiral mentality and threw away their whole entire existehey gave up everything to create a guardian of the universe who could do what had to be done no matter the cost, the reason of its whole existence is and will always be to preserve, to make sure that the universe doesn't end.

  Anyway, with my research, I've firmed that if we take trol of Cathedral Terra, and at the same time, remove the Anti-Spiral Factor in Nia, there won't be any ce that the current virus bring the rise of another unknown messenger of the Anti-Spiral, basically making it a retively harmless virus like the on flu, something that I reyed tenome about a week ago, and once he learned of it, he started to rush his preparation.

  After saying that, I tinue my briefing, "As said before their number is staggering, moreover, all Mugann have almost imperable energy shields which deflect bullets and other solid onry, as well as powerful sers that destroy anything they touch, and most important their speed is almost on par with Gurren Lagann. Ahing to take note of is that, unlike normal Guhat simply explode or break down whe a fatal blow, these mecha turn into small explosives that devastate anything nearby, causing almost as much damage as the Mugann itself cause."

  After that, Kittan then adds, "We are going to show them the power of the Teoppa Dai-Gurren Brigade!" followed by Simon who says, "We will drill through every wall that stands in our way and even pierce through the Heavens if it is needed!"

  Hearing them, I smile, and looking at the nervous Nia, I say, "Are you ready?" Nia slowly nods, but I clearly sense how uneasy and afraid she truly is, so I raise my hand and with a geone, I say, "Don't worry. Before you even realize what is going on, everything will be done, and you will be able to enjoy your life and the bright future you have ahead."

  Then I ge my Spiral o into Spiral Power and usioration Magic, I gee a temporal bubble around Nia stopping all Time within it, then I once more touch my earphone and say, "Nia is iemporal stasis. Operation Moon Break finally start!"

  I'm sitting in Lazengann's cockpit with my arm crossed, while Lazegann itself is also sitting in the Space Gunmen, Dekubatsu's cockpit mimig my position using a cascade interface to ee, then once I'm sure that Guame, my es, and my most loyal men are ready, with a grin on my face, I say, "Jayr.   As I wait for Jayr's signal, my mind starts to wander, 'To think that after all this time and all the things I did ahrough... to think that I would once more feel like this... alive and hopeful. I finally have a ce to open a path to a better future, a future free of the threat of the Spiral Nemesis, and free of the Anti-Spiral's oppression. A better future for Nia. Even if I have nht to call myself her father anymore. Even if nothing of what I'll do will atone for all the evil I have itted. I'll still tio fight not as the Spiral King, guardian of humanity. But as the simple Spiral Warrior Lenome!'

  Then my thoughts are interrupted by Jayr's voice as he starts to give his briefing about this critical operation that will decide the fate of the people oh, then he once more warns the warriors of the Dai-Gurren Brigade about the capabilities of the Anti-Spiral forces.

  Dekabutsu quickly rises through the atmosphere, breaking through the troposphere and stratosphere, gaining more and more speed as the pull of Earth's gravity grows weaker and weaker, and so the Space Gunmen tio rise, breaking through the mesosphere, thermosphere, and exosphere yers and finally, I find myself bato the cold space, the sario of many of my battles against the Anti-Spiral Race.

  But the situation suddenly ges when we reach 3/4 of the way, as I hear one of the Beastmen manning the bridge yell out, "Spatial Dispt revealed!! Enemies ining!!"

  At the same time, through the dispy, I see tless portals open all around the Dekabutsu from which the Anti-Spiral's Muganns start to e out, and not only the Soldier Css Mugann, the basic Mugann unit, are sent i o y waste to humanity.

  But also Jokyu-Mugann, the and unit, deploying and coordinating the attacks of Soldier Css Mugann, and the huge Kyo-Mugann and Kuu-Mugann.

  At the same time, Guame snorts and says, "Of course, they want to free and secure their messenger, without it their reinfort won't be able to quickly teleport here." I nod then with a smile I say, "Don't worry about the enemies nding oh.   Once close enough, I raise Dekabutsu's right arm, and thrust it toward the spinning Mugann, using a teique from that old martial art named Sumo, a teique called Tsuppari, that delivers a fast strike with the palm of the hand to the oppo.

  The Space Gunmen's huge palm cshes against the spinning body of the enemy stopping it in pce while geing blinding sparks akin to lightning.

  But this isn't enough to destroy the Kuu-Kyo-Mugann, so without giving it any time to react, I raise the Space Gunme arm and trate all my Spiral Power into it, more precisely the enormous hammer of the Dekabutsu that starts to shine in a green light and yell, "This is the end!"

  I swing the left arm downward while yelling, "Space-Time Shattering Smash!!" hitting the Mugann with such force that it smashes downward, breaking a hole in the fabric of space-time and sending it flying straight out of the universe where it grandly explodes.

  Seeing this spectacle I 't help but grin, but soon Guame's image appears on the s as he looks at me with a smirk as he says in a mog tone, "Heh. The great Spiral Warrior Lenome happily imitates the exploit of a bunch of kids... What's ? Are you gonna say that catchphrase ?"

  I tio grin at my old friend and reply, "Maybe, it depends if I'm able to find the right moment for it... You know, Guame, after so many years, I never felt more alive."

  [colpse]While I'm looking at the bastardized Anti-Spiral version of my own mecha, I receive a report from the bridge, "ahe energy levels of Cathedral Terra keep rising! It's about to release a beam attack!!"

  Jayr POV - Earth, Teppelin Region - 1007 AFA-SW

  As I watch the chaotic battle betweei-Spiral's forces and the Dai-Gurren Brigade unfolding all around me, all of a sudden, I hear Lenome's voice through the quantum unication el as he says, "Jayr, get ready! We are about to take trol of Cathedral Terra!"

  Hearing that, I look up and take a look at the sky, ign the Mugann's ser that sometimes cshes against the Spiral Power barrier surrounding me and Nia, and focus on the immense Guhat be seen up there, as it tries to punch through the p only for its fist to suddenly stop and slowly move back.

  Seeing that, I let out a sigh and mutter, "Ahhh. It seems that Lenome up there is as busy as us down here."

  Then I again take a look at the battle that is happening all around me while thinking, 'Luckily only Soldier Css Mugann and Jokyu-Mugann survived the initial csh with Dekabutsu, and more important they focused all their forces here instead of starting to randomly attack the inhabited zones so Simon and the others don't have to worry about the possible damage caused by the Mugenn's self-destrus...'.

  It seems that everything is going fie the overwhelming number of enemies, with Gurren Lagann leading the charge and the help of the Spiral ons, the unmen of the Dai-Gurren Brigade are able to easily deal with most of the enemies, way more easily than what I saw in the anime and movie.

  And looking at King Kittan as it pierces through one of the Jokyu-Mugann with its horroying it after Dayakkaise piloted by Yoko breaks its energy barrier with her Spiral on, I realize the reason behind it, 'Of course. Different from the story I know, here they are already prepared to face the Mugann, not only do they know their capabilities, but also their weakness. Moreover, even if they are younger and a lot less experienced pared with their 7 years older version, they have another advahat their older terpart didn't have.'

  Then I look at Kidknuckle as it relentlessly shoots at all the Mugann in its rah its Spiral Guns, fog only on breaking their energy barrier, while Mo-Shogun, Twinboekun, Sawzorthn, Einzer, and Enkidudu sweep in aroy the defenseless unit and tinue my thought, 'They didn't lose their sharpened fighting instincts because of a 7 years long period of peace.   After that I look at Kamina and Simon as they pilot Gurren Lagann, mowing through everything in their path, and despise the number of enemies surrounding them, Gurren Lagann is still able to easily deal with them, and with a nod, I end my train of thoughts, 'That's right, while this Simon's Spiral Power still isn't mature and is very rough in its use, his battle awareness is way above his future terpart... at least pared with the version at the start of the sed part.'

  Once I have a clear image of what I have to do, I quickly point my hands toward the time-frozen Nia and cast my Metamorphosis Magic to reform her DNA structure making sure to eliminate all the traces of that hidden nasty gene, remaking her into a pure human being by repg the old ied DNA with a new one, freeing her from the Anti-Spiral Factor ond for all.
