Double D Layer / Double D-Field: A doubled D-field that requires large highly advanced magnets(or something) that allows the D-field to sandwich volumes of plasma between them to act as a barrier. Capital ship sized vessels utilize these to defend against fleet sized munitions. Battlemoons take them a step further.
