  Location: The Secret Garden of Alto Mare

  Latias: "Ash, do you have to leave?"

  Ash: "Yes, I'm sorry Latias, but I can't stay here forever."

  Latias: "Could you at least stay a little longer? I have something for you."

  Ash: "Sure Latias. Try to hurry though, the ship is leaving in half an hour."

  Latias: "Ok! I'll be right back!"

  Latias zoomed off and headed for the other side of the garden.

  Latias: "Latios! Ready?"

  Latios: "You didn't tell him yet right?"

  Latias: "Of course, I didn't otherwise it would ruin the surprise!"

  Latios: "Ok, so here's the plan, you go back and when Ash asks you what you were doing then I reveal myself and while he's still shocked that I'm alive, we each tap one of his empty Pokeballs."

  Latias: "Got it! Let's go!"

  Latios and Latias zoomed over to Ash.

  Latias: "Hi Ash!"

  Ash: "Hi Latias! You came just in time, I have to get going now."

  Latias: "Ok, would you like to see your surprise?"

  Ash: "Sure!"

  Latios: *uncloaks* "Greetings Ash!"

  Ash: "Latios!?" *passes out*

  Latias: "Ready?"

  Latios: "On the count of three. One, Two, Three!"

  Latios and Latias each tapped one of the Pokeballs on Ash's belt and were sucked in. The balls dinged instantly, signaling a successful capture. Pikachu, who had observed the whole scene, stood in shock for a few minutes. Eventually, he remembered that Ash had a boat to catch and used a small thundershock on him.

  Ash: "Gah! Pikachu! Don't do that!"

  Pikachu: "Pi Pika!" *points at Ash's Pokeball belt*

  Ash: "What's there Pikachu? And where did Latios and Latias go?"

  Pikachu: *knocks two balls off Ash's belt* *they roll off and open up*

  Latios: "Well, that was certainly something."

  Ash: "Latios, Latias? You- you want to come with me?"

  Latios: "Yes, we do. Especially after all you've done for us and what we've heard from other Legendaries. We agreed that you would make a perfect trainer."

  Latias: "Yeah, and we can explore the world without having to worry about being captured!"

  Ash: "Really? Thanks so much! This means so much to me!"

  Latios: "You're very welcome, now, you'd better hurry or you'll miss your boat!"

  Ash: "Ahhh! I'm not going to make it in time!"

  Latios: "Here, hop on, I'll take you there."

  Ash: "Thanks!"

  Latios took off and flew into the air with Latias and Pikachu following closely behind. As they soared high in the sky, just for a moment, they all felt the happiest that they ever had in their lives.
