Loka lays tired on a floating sheet of he created. He drifts on the open ocean trying to regain as much of his strength as he can. He absorbs as much of the fish and plant life below him. He holds Marzaneas in his hand as he thinks of where to go from here. “The dragons have more than likely made it to Eaven by now. Rev should have already been there. Knowing how Mayhem is, he probably doesn’t even care about Rev. He’s there to kill as many people as he can. A battle hungry mindless killer…a pure dragon, it seems.” Loka thinks to himself.

  “That arrogant bastard! I’ll rip him piece by piece and make him watch as the others eat him.” The dragon queen thinks. She slowly begins to heat up her hand using the overwhelming amount of source being drained from it. All efforts to pull her hand away have failed, so she’s choice to push forward in an attempt to push the source metal pillar over. The court yard at the mountain place is in a state of shock. Not knowing how to react to what they have just seen.

  “So…your not gonna fight each other?” Phin asks.

  Rev turns to face the palace gates. “No reason to” Rev says.

  Cinder laughs and raises his arm. “Come on now. Discard those worried expressions. We have a guest to welcome.” Cinder says.

  The people of the palace look at eachother and slowly he into the palace. Whispers run ramped as people share their thoughts on the event.

  “I mean, this is good right?”

  “Am just glad there not fighting anymore.”

  “It better to have them on the same side.”

  Phin gets up, trying to counsel his inner panic the best he can. “This…feel wrong. Bron and Cass looked like there were in a hurry when they left. I didn’t get to talk to them, all I heard is that they were looking for Cinder and Rev. What could they possibly of wanted with these two…” Phin thinks, as he walks back to the first gate.

  “Where do you think you're going? We are holding a banquet for Rev. With us two here, there are only a couple people brave enough to lunch an attack.” Cinder tells Phin.

  “…Ok” Phin says.

  He walks over to the palace. Everyone gathers up in the dining hall. Cinder takes his seat at the head of the table; Rev takes to one seat next to him. He lower his hood, his silky white hair droops down his face. He runs his hands through his hair and pushes it back. Everyone is soon served a bowl of soup with bread on the side.

  “Thank you twin gods for the meal. We will not waste a drop,” Cinder says.

  Rev after the prayer, immediately downs the soup and devours the bread. He licks his lips clean, lets out a breath of relief. Cinder glares down at him, but soon snaps back to the other.

  “No need to be shy. Hey Rev is requesting a second bowl please.” Cinder says.

  Another bowl is immediately served to Rev. One after the other Rev runs the soup bowls dry. The others look at him with a face of concern and aw.

  “Ive never seen anyone so small eat so much.” A cyclops whispered.

  Shane and Bane walked in covered in sweet.

  “Rev?” Shane tired said.

  Rev looked over at the entrance of the dining hall. Then the sound hit.

  BOOOM

  BOOOOOOOOM

  BOOOOOOOOOOOM

  The walks, ground, and tables all shook.

  “What was that?” Rev asked.

  In the blink of an eye, Cinder stood up and bolted out the door and to the gate. Rev fallowed close behind. They got to the front gate.

  “What's going on?” Rev asked.

  “We’re under attack.” Cinders said, a wicked smile plastered on his face.

  They walk down the steps and out to the mountainside. The shock waves hit much stronger out here. One after the other, never seeming to end.

  BOOOOM!

  BOOOOOOOOM!

  BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

  Rev looks back at the mountain shaking behind them. The barrier is still holding strong. Rev turns back to the open sky and ocean. His eyes glow as they see further and further into the distance. The sky sparkles like it does at night.

  “What the fuck…Are those dragons?” Rev says.

  “Straight from Tartarus, it seems. I was foolish to think we had more time.” Cass said.

  Rev tries to look closer, but can’t fully make out anything other than the colossal amount of source that covers the distance sky. “Where are you Loka?” Rev wonders.

  “We have to get ready as soon as possible. Have the others as much food as possible and retreat to the lower bunker.” Cinder says.

  He goes back inside and rushes to the palace. Once in, he goes to the dinner hall. Sound of the people's panic have already started.

  “Get all the food we have packed up and get them to the lower bunker.” Rev told Phin.

  “Lower bunker, are we under attack?” Phin asks.

  The room goes silent as they all turn to Rev. “Yes, so stop looking at me and get ready.” Rev responds.

  “What!” Shon yells out.

  Rev glares at Phin. Phin shapes up and starts to gather the people, trying to keep the panic at a minimum.

  “It’s going to be ok. We have Cinder, Rev, and the other warrior to protect you.” Phin says.

  “That’s only half true, most the warrior are out with Bron and Cass…” Phin thinks.

  Despite Phin’s best efforts, terror spread through the people like a plague. Rev rolls his eyes at the sight of such a pitiful display.

  “So, this is the resolve of the believers?” Rev takes his red band off and shows it to the crowd. “Don’t take his the wrong way; I will not put my life on the line to save you. I am here to honor the man that saved me and kill the man that took him away from me. I was told by Ein to hold faith till I draw my last breath. That fear has no place in the heart of a believer. So make your decision, for it could be your last. Pray to your twin gods or curse them out; I don’t care. I Just ask you do one thing. Go to the bunker and reduce your chance of being a liability.” Rev tells all the people in the dining hall.

  Without another word, the people hurried into the bunker. Phin walked up to Rev.

  “Hey…I didn’t want to say this in front of the others, but we’re missing a lot of warriors. They were sent out with Bron and Cass to well funny enough to look for you and Cinder. I need to get to them as soon as possible and assemble the troops.” Phin tells Rev.

  “I was wondering where they were, but what did they want with me and Cinder?” Rev asks.

  “To be honest, I don’t know. They left in a rush a couple days ago and all I heard is that they were looking for you. They took over half the warriors with them. I need to find them as soon as possible.” Phin says.

  “well ok, do what you want.” Rev responds.

  Phin runs off as fast as he can towards to gate. Rev also starts to leave, but a distant voice stops him.

  “Lilly, where are you!”

  “Lilly…” Rev whispers

  He dashes into the to the voice, swiftly making his way through the halls.

  “Lilly, please come out. We need to go!…Rev is that you?” Rebecca ask.

  “It is” Rev responds.

  “oh thank the twin gods. Your speech was really something…but I really need your help. I don’t know where Lilly is. She heard that you had come back and wanted to talk to you, but I wouldn’t let her during dinner. Once the shaking started, I got distracted and she must of ran off.” Rebbeca explains.

  “It's fine; just go to the bunker. I’ll find her.” Rev says.

  “Really! Thank you so much” Rebbeca says, she runs up to hug him tightly.

  Rev is overcome with a familiar warmth. It makes him question why he ever chose to leave it.

  BOOOOM!

  He is soon reminded. “Ok…go to the bunker.” Rev says.

  Rebbeca takes a good look at him and gives him one last smile before running off. Rev immediately bolts through the palace, searching in through the walls. As he scans the palace, the garden draws his attention. He opens the door and sees the bright colored flower. He takes in a breath of air, then sighs.

  “You need to get to the bunker.” Rev says.

  Lilly pokes her head out from the bushes, her face covered in dried up tears. “Rev? is that really you…” Lilly gets a better look at him and her face lights up.

  “REV!” she yells.

  She jumps into his arms. Rev catches her. His hands stain on her baby blue bouffant dress.

  “We have to go,” Rev says.

  “Ok, take me away” Lilly says, as she clings on to Rev.

  Rev sighs and carries her out of the garden, through the halls and into the bunker.

  “WOAH!” Lilly yells as she flies through the halls in Rev’s arms.

  Rev puts Lilly down. “Go in there and find your mom,” Rev says.

  “What about you?” Lilly asks.

  “I have to go fight.” Rev says.

  Lilly looks up at Rev, looking concerned. “Why can’t you stay in here like the others?” She asks face a slight pout on her face as she clings to Rev’s leg.

  “your mother is waiting. I need to fight…” Rev sighs and gets on a knee. He brings his hand up and wind blast Lilly into the bunker.

  “Find your mother!” Rev yells.

  Then he quickly closes the door shut. Lilly runs to the door and start to pound on it. “REV! REV! COME BACK! REV!” Lilly screams and screams, but it’s no use. The walls are far too thick for any words to be heard on the other side.

  Rev makes his way back up and to the front gate.

  “ALMOST THERE! PARIDISE WILL FALL!” Mayhem yells.

  Rev makes it out. “Get down” Cinder whispers.

  Hundreds of shadows cover the sky as the dragons fly over head. They all fly right past them.

  “Where are they going?” Rev asks.

  Cinder looks over and smile “Paradise, those crazy bastards are launching an all out attack against the elf king.” Cinder says, but as more and more dragons come, his smile fades.

  “something's not right…I have only seen one elder dragon. Thánatos isn’t exactly easy to miss, even from a great distance. Maybe they plan to attack from multiple side.” Cinder says.

  “There’ll only be two elder dragons; Loka killed Havoc.” Rev tells Cinder.

  “What leads Havoc to challenging Loka? Have the dragon's egos grown that big over the last couple of years?” Cinder says.

  “Actually, Havoc was after me. Loka killed him, but I later got ambushed by dragons and was captured. The queen used me to lear out Loka. She wanted to trade me for her freedom.” Rev says.

  Cinder looks down at Rev. “What does this kid have that Loka would go through such trouble to keep him alive?” Cinder wonders.

  “Well, where is Loka now?” Cinder asks.

  “I don’t know, he told the queen he would only take the barrier down once I had safely made it to Evean.” Rev responds.

  “Well, the last thing Loka would do is take that barrier down. He more than likely had to come up with a way to trick the queen. The best course of action was sending you back to ensure your safety and give himself time to think. There’s something even Loka can’t just fight his way out of,” Cinder says.

  “your probably right…” Rev looks out toward Tartarus. “But I still don’t know where he is.” Rev says.

  “Am sure he didn’t make it out of there unscathed. My guess is he’s on his way to Isha. Going to that small down he had started up. It’s been a while sense I’ve seen it. I think it was called Carter.” Cinder says.

  “Oh yeah, it was a pretty big city, actually. Took me more time than expected to burn it down.” Rev says.

  Cinder looks over at Rev. “You burnt down Loka’s town. Your ruthless!” Cinder laughs.

  “This kids more crazy than I thought, Its best to have him as an ally for as long as I can,” Cinder thinks.

  Rev rolls his eye. “Am going to go look for Loka,” Rev says

  “And how do you intend to do that? We’re on the same team now, kid. And no disrespect, but if you were to fight Loka, he’d killed within seconds if he wanted to, but it seems you're valuable to him in a major way. Knowing that it’s best we use you to draw him out and set a trap. That way, we can better control how the fight plays out. If we’re going to fight Loka, we’re going to need a formulated plan. To stack as many weaknesses on him as possible. There is no honor to be had in a fight with the devil.” Cinder says.
