“STOOOOOOOOOP!!!!!” Bron yells out.
Cinder turns to see Bron on the mountainside. Rev still sitting in the pool of blood with Loka’s bone in his hand.
Bron and Cass jump down with Phin and the other cyclops warriors behind him.
“You must stop this at once!” Cass yells.
“Brother…” Cinder whispers.
Bron goes to Rev’s side. “Are you ok?” Bron asks.
Rev is stunned into silence. “What are you doing brother?” Cinder asks as he grips his spear.
“Cinder, give up this senseless rampage,” Bron says.
Cinder's face turns cold. “Senseless? I fight for the peace that was taken from us-”
“Peace! Your fight for peace by creating more WAR! Look around you brother! Does this look like the path to peace?” Bron says in an outraged tone.
“I wouldn’t have to do this if those stupid elves didn’t bring the dragons here in the fight place. They were the ones that used a gift not meant for them. And when war came because of it, I fought! I PUT MY LIFE ON THE LINE FOR YOU BROTHER!” Cinder yells.
Bron looks down at the pool of blood, then at Cinder. If I were talking to that man, I would have run to him with open arms. A man so delicate, rabbits would not run from him. A man so kind, Ein looked up to. A man without a single shred of hate in his heart, but the man died in the war. My older brother died in war and a monster sick with hatred now wears his skin.” Bron says.
Cinder's face softens as he lets out a sigh, looking at the warriors that surround Rev. “You have chosen your fate. When we meet on the battlefield, I promise your death will be painless.” Cinder says to Bron as he flies away.
Rev remains frozen. “Rev, you're ok now. Please tell us what happened…Rev?” Bron says.
Cass walks over to Rev and gets on a knee in front of him. “His eyes…there hallow…” Cass says.
“What?” Bron says.
He grabs Rev’s shoulder and turns him around. His body is limp and falls into Bron’s chest.
“Is he alive?” A cyclops warrior asks.
Cass lays his hand on him, feeling a slight force keeping his source from leaving his body. “Yes, but his will live is fading.” Cass says.
Bron picks him up and forces Rev’s source to stay inside him. They all get up and head towards the palace.
“RETREAT!” a dragon yells.
“COWARDS!” Mayhem yells back.
SHHSHHSHSHSHSHBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAACH!!
A cloud of light covers the desert, zapping down dragons caught in the storm.
“He’s here…” Philip says with a mixer of releaf.
“I can see that…” Peter responds in an uneasy tone.
Mayhem face strains with anger as he watches the fleet of dragons fly away. He turns to the elf king, looking at the bright light that covers him. He goes to charge up a blast breath attack.
“Who do you think you are?” the elf king says in a disgusted tone of voice.
He points his finger at Mayhem and the storm cloud above smites him down, causing Mayhem to be shot straight into the ground. His legs shake as he tries to stand up, but is quickly smited down again and again. Blood pours out of his mouth as the white scales on his back turn to black. He turns around and blast breath in the next lighting strike.
“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!” Mayhem screams.
Purple flame erupts from his scales, flowing into his blast breath. The elf king smiles “That’s it…keep fighting” the elf king mocks.
He extends both his hands out and the dark cloud follow mimic his hand wrapping around Mayhem slowly closing in. Mayhem stack in hand into the ground and faces his head down, blasting a tunnel into the ground. The elf king closes his hands and activates the lighting art, transforming the dark cloud into pure source fueled lighting. A bright purple light flashes blindly anyone who sees it. Philip covers his face and closes his eyes, but it’s not enough. The light pierces through his skin and bones and into his eyes.
“Get down-” Peter says.
“AAAHHH!” Philip screams.
Peter buries his head in the sands.
The elf king, on the other hands stares bright eyes straight into the attack as his eyes gloss over. Mayhem tunnels under the ground and sends a blast breath straight up from below the elf king. The elf king dash out of the way with ease and swipes his hand towards Mayhem. Lightning follows his hand, smiting down Mayhem once more. Mayhem's jaw snaps off as it’s hit with the attack. He jumps up and tries to heal. The elf king raises his hand and smite his down again. Mayhem brushes it off and dash toward the elf king. The elf king quickly runs through hands signs.

“Flash” the elf king whispers.
A bright light flashes at Mayhem, throwing him off course. His head spins and his vision triples as he crashes to the ground.
“HAHAHA!” The elf king lets out a childish laugh.
Mayhem shakes his head and lets out a bone chilling roar. “RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!”
The elf king's smile quickly fades, replaces with one of annoyance. “Silence.” the elf king whispers.
As Mayhem roar the elf soldiers below pass out, blood draining from their ears. He pulls in their source and heals all his wounds. Mayhem smile.
“That’s enough..”the elf king says.
Mayhem sight is caught in a flash as he’s blasted across the desert before his eyes could blink. A spiking pain in what was his chest floods his mind. “What…what just happened…” Mayhem thinks. An overwhelming source surrounds him and pulls at his open wound.
“he..y…st…” Mayhem can’t form a complete word.
Mayhem looks around, but he was blasted at least 300 miles away and yet he can still feel him. The elf king’s presence is all around him, tarring him apart. Mayhem reaches his hand out as he’s split in two and crushed under the source of the elf king. Only a pool of blood and broken scale remain. Some of the other dragons still in range of the elf king’s source are crushed like flies.
“Loka!…Loka?” Thánatos says as he looks at empty open ocean that surrounds him.
“GET ME OUT OF HERE!” The queen signals the Thánatos.
“but…” He spread out his source, but can’t seem to sense Loka anywhere. He turns around and flies towards the queen. As he approaches, he sees how far the ice has spread. It glistens in the sunlight. The try desert turned to an ice tundra. Thánatos looks down at the queen, who stands frozen in the center of it all. He lands on the ice and spread to his feet. He charges up his breath attack. A flame covered lightning bolt blast out of his mouth, splitting the ice in half. With the ice temporarily weakened, he dives down in to Revine he’s made. He begins to slash at the more densely packed ice. The closer he gets, the stronger the ice becomes as the ice tents a light purple shade. Loka had created an ice that replicates the properties of source metal. Thánatos spotted the queen with her hand on the source metal pillar. He reaches out, but there’s not enough room.
“Push…Push the pillar over.” The queen says.
Thánatos carves through the ever spreading ice to the pillar and with all his might grabs it and lifts it up and out of the sand having it topple over. The movement of the pillar cracked the thick ice around the queen. An opening was created and Thánatos reaches out and pulled the queen's hand off the pillar as it fell.
BANG!
The pillar fell and the ice that surround them stopped its ever reaching spread. Thánatos looked over, expecting the queen to shout at him for letting Loka escape, but to his surprise a wicked grin plastered her face.
“I’m….I’M OUTSIDE THE BARRIER!” the queen explained, grabbing on to Thánatos shoulders.
Thánatos looked down to see that it was true. The queen had not stepped outside the bounds of the island in what had to be the last 300 years. In the blink of an eye, the queen shot up and out of the ice shell, having it shatter for dozens of miles around. Thánatos quickly followed behind.
“MAYHEM! YOU ARE TO COME TO ME AT ONCE!” The queen signaled out.
Thánatos looked confused. “What happened? I was fighting Loka and then he was gone. Did Mayhem try to chase after him?” Thánatos asked.
The queen looks around. “Loka…That tricked he pulled drained too much of my strength for me to sense far enough to sense him. I also can’t seem to sense Mayhem. He better of not gotten himself killed.” The queen said.
Thánatos clenched his teeth. “He was always a reckless child.” Thánatos said.
“That ignorant leads all others charging in with him. We’d be lucky if half of them make it back.” The queen said.
“…They’re already made it there? What did Loka do to me…How much time has passed?” Thánatos asked.
“It’s been a couple days sense Loka came to Tartares.” The queen said.
“Couple days!” Thánatos explained.
“I never seen him do something like this before… Limbo, that’s the last thing I heard and then he was gone.” Thánatos thinks.
The queen rolled her eyes. “Get yourself together. We’re going to wrap around straight to Paradise.” The queen said.
Thánatos raised his head “Sorry ______. We should go.” Thánatos said.
The queen blast off without responding. Thánatos growled and let out a burst of scorching hot air around him before he took off after the queen.
-1 day later
Bron and Cass, along with the other cyclops warriors, are carrying Rev up to the palace.
“I still can’t sense either of them.” Thánatos tells the queen.
The queen stays silent and flies faster ahead.
“what..happened” Rev asked as he lifts his head.
“Cinder?” Rev whispers.
“Don’t worry, he won’t be your problem anymore.” Bron says.
“Bron? what are you doing here…Bron, Loka’s dead. He’s gone…forever.” Rev looks down at his blood-stained hands. “Is that really it?” Rev says looking up at Bron.
Bron sighs. “Ein once told me the greatest revenge is self improvement.” Bron smile slighting, seeming to look back to a simpler time, but his smile soon faded. “I could never weave my words like he could. I was so scared back then. I was only thinking of myself. I let my brother walk down the wrong path. I prayed and prayed, but the twin gods say we have a choice in the matter. Ein told me they can send messages, but our response was up to us. To you face your challenges without thought, do you complain about how hard they are, or do you think what you can learn from them?” Bron tells Rev.
Rev thinks back to the nights he spent with Ein in the jungle. Bron’s words sounding so familiar. “The twin gods have a plan for us; do not confuse it for your.” Rev remembers.
Cass looks over at Rev cradled in Brons arms. “…” He goes to open his mouth, but chooses not to speak. He faces forwards and continues ahead.
Rev cupped his face with his hands and let out a heavy sigh.
“Put me down Bron…” Mumbled.
“Are you sure you're ok to walk?” Bron asked.
Rev raised his head and got out of Bron’s arms himself. “Yeah…” Rev responds.
The wind blow violently on the side of the cliff they climbed. Rev down at the raging ocean and stepped to the edge.
“Hey!” Bron said, reaching out and grabbed Rev’s shoulder.
“Let me go Bron…” Rev whispered.
“Rev, death is no valid escape,” Bron told Rev.
Rev face strained “Ein did it, why can’t I.” Rev said.
“Rev! You know that’s not the same thing. I would expect you of all people to respect that.” Bron said.
Rev took another step forward, some rocks kicked down from his step. “REV!” Bron yelled.
The other cyclops warriors all turned and looked down at what was happening.
“Rev…” Cass whispered.
Another hand rest on Rev’s shoulder. “I’ve heard of your struggles. Your strength is inspiring. Rev, that feeling that consumes you. It attacks every single one of us. Do you really think you're the only one that’s ever felt hopeless? Do you think Bron, Cass, or Ein never faces struggle or loss of a loved one? Rev you're not al-” Elpiden said.
“SHUT UP!” Rev yelled.
He turned and glared up at Elpiden, his breath heavy. “We are not the same. Not at all; you swore to protect, and I swore to destroy.” Rev said, the crimson glow returning to his eyes. He stepped forward, floating himself up to meet Elpiden's eye.
“Have you ever seen the life drain from some’s eyes as they cry out for mercy? How many people have died because of your mistake? How many have died because you where to weak to do anything? HOW MANY FUCKING ELDER DRAGONS HAVE YOU HAD HUNTED YOU DOWN…how many people have you killed…Do you hear their screams when you sleep?” Rev asked, catching his breath from his previous yelling.
