Section 18: Left Ear (18)
Just then, Mom called and said she had completed all the formalities and would come to pick me up.
I held the phone for a long time, this was something I had been looking forward to for a long time. When they just left, I cried hugging my pillow at night, and at that time, I was fragile and sensitive, full of dependence on everything. But now, everything is different, I am no longer the silly me before.
I am who I am, nobody can change me.
"I won't go," I said.
She sighed on the other side: "Dad and mom will try their best to make up for these years of owing you."
"You'd better give up on this idea, it's never going to happen."
Soon, I began to realize my own inadequacies.
I went to the pharmacy and bought a blue paper strip, which is said to be able to test the result. I hid in the bathroom, looking at the red mark slowly emerging from the blue, smiling.
I sent a text message to Zhang Yang, telling him that I missed him so much it hurt. Forgive me for using such flowery language, but this is really how I feel. After sending the message, I returned home and found that my mother had gathered a big group of people in our house to play mahjong. I slipped back into my room without anyone noticing me.
I went back to my room, closed the door, lay down on the bed and soon fell asleep.
In a daze, I seemed to hear someone knocking on the door. After opening my eyes, I saw him. He was still wearing that handsome duck tongue hat, but he wasn't knocking on the door, he was knocking on my window.
I quickly jumped down from bed, opened the window and let him in.
"He let out a cold laugh: 'It's really cold, I stood for half a day before I could knock you awake.'"
"Sorry," I said, "I fell asleep."
"It's broad daylight and you're sleeping, I'm really impressed by you." he said.
"Of course I'm going to sleep." I patted my belly and said, "I need to take good care of myself now."
He looked at me with some tension, he was truly an extremely intelligent child.
I sat down on the bed and patted the bedside sheet saying: "Come, sit down."
Zhang Yang pointed outside.
"Don't worry, as long as the sky doesn't fall down, no one outside will bother us."
Zhang Yang sat down beside me, hugged me and said: "You know, as soon as I received your message, I lied to the teacher and asked for leave. I couldn't bear to see you heartbroken, right?"
When he said that, my heart ached, it was the kind of ache that came from happiness. It was more unbearable than real pain.
"After you finish your college entrance exam, we can be together every day." I said.
He thought for a moment: "I must get into Tsinghua University. Will you come with me to Beijing? I like Beijing."
"Okay," I said, "I'll go with you, you read books, and I'll wait for our son after school."
He said: "Don't talk nonsense."
I patted my belly and said: "I want to give birth to him."
His face turned green all of a sudden.
"It's okay," I said, "I'll definitely support him and let him live a good life."
He turned my face over, looked into my eyes and said: "You this like to tell lies bad child. See how I'll deal with you!"
He came over to scratch my itch, and I giggled and dodged, afraid that people outside the room would hear me, not daring to make too much noise. Zhang Yang had a sly grin on his face, looking like he was pleased with himself. Just then, my stomach suddenly churned violently, and I pushed him away, rushing to the bathroom to vomit.
After I finished vomiting, I turned around and saw Zhang Yang standing by the door.
He put his hat back on and asked me in a tone that scared me: "Is it true?"
I rinsed my mouth with a large glass of water in a glass cup.
"He said: 'I'll ask you again, is it true?'"
I spat out the water in my mouth and replied clearly: "Yes."
He walked over, pinched my chin and said: "You go get rid of him for me."
"Darling," I said, holding him tight, "let me have a child for you. Don't worry, I'm capable of raising it."
He pushed me away, pointing at me with one finger and said: "I'm only telling you once, get rid of him, remember, I don't want to say it a second time!"
"Okay." I said with a lowered head.
"Okay." He stretched out his hand and quickly stroked my long hair, saying briefly: "I'm going back to school for class, let's keep in touch by text message anytime."
"Zhang Yang!" I stretched out my hand to hold him back, "When can I see you again?"
"When the time comes, we'll meet naturally. Take this money, it's all I have, not enough for you to make do with, if you need to borrow, I'll pay you back next month when I get my allowance." He finished speaking, took out all the money from his pocket and threw it onto the bed sheet. Coolly turned around, familiarly climbed out of the window and disappeared. Jumped away!!!????..
